North Food Polska once again joined in the nationwide Noble Box campaign, which involves helping families in difficulty and in need. This year the company helped Staś, who suffers from cystic fibrosis, and his mother.

Cystic fibrosis is an incurable genetic illness which can only be treated using a complex and multidisciplinary approach. Countless drugs, rehabilitation equipment and high-calory nutrients are required for the boy to function in everyday life, which is all very costly. An auction was held at North Food Polska’s headquarters in Kielce, where 85 items went under the hammer to help the family.

With the money raised from the auction and the items donated by employees, it was possible to buy specialised equipment including an inhaler and steam steriliser. The family also received other required supplies including over-the-counter medicines, a steam mop, foodstuffs, cleaning agents, boy’s clothes, school materials and other everyday items.

Representatives of North Food who took part this year could not contain their emotions at being able to selflessly help this wonderful family together.

“Because we at North Food help out in various ways, we take great pleasure in participating in the Noble Box. Some simply pay in a particular amount, while others buy equipment or items indicated as necessary for the family. At our company’s charity auction, you can also sell and bid for various items, including hand-made ones. Even the smallest gesture matters,” says Joanna Mazur, the Board’s Office Specialist.

North Food Polska S.A. is a dynamically developing organisation which runs a chain of restaurants. The company was founded by Michał Sołowow in 2002. North Food currently manages 47 restaurants in the Quick Service Restaurants and Casual Dining Restaurants segments, in two formats: North Fish and JOHN BURG.

North Food Polska S.A. is part of the Michał Sołowow Group, which includes such established companies as Synthos, Cersanit, Barlinek and Komfort, as well as start-ups like 3DGence, New Era Materials and Homla.
